When can I come to your office to discuss options?

By appointment only from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and on weeknights.

Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Where will your entertainers perform?
While most of our events are in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, we also provide entertainment throughout the United States.
Do you provide non-musical entertainment?
What type of bands do you offer and show?

We represent all styles – from variety bands that play music from all eras to Classic Rock, Top 40, Dixieland, Motown, Swing and Big Band, Country, Bluegrass and Tribute Bands to name a few.

How do I know how many musicians/performers I will need?
The number is determined by the guest count, the size of the venue, whether you want dancing or background music, and your budget. We will offer suggestions to help you make the right choice.
What makes your disc jockeys different?

We are not simply a referral service for free-lance DJ’s.  This allows us to guarantee the quality of our DJ service.  And preparation!  We are here to offer song, emcee and timeline suggestions and guarantee that Our DJ’s play your song requests and emcee as instructed for your wedding, corporate dinner, convention or holiday party.  Our DJ’s will also bring the appropriate size sound system to suit the venue and for the number of guests attending, make sure that the volume will be at the appropriate level for both background and dance music, and will bring a wireless hand held microphone for you to use for remarks.

Can I talk on the phone, FaceTime, Skype or meet with the bandleader or disc jockey prior to the event?


What process do you go through to ensure the success of my event?

First we will assist in your selection of the perfect entertainment for your event. Then whether a band, DJ, entertainer or sound and lighting we will will go over all details and your expectations prior to your event. That way we can ensure that our talent will perform as instructed and your event will be a huge success!  We will be there every step of the entertainment way so that on the day of your event you can relax and enjoy yourself!

Can you suggest the timing of the events of what will happen at my wedding reception (cutting cake, first dance, father/bride dance, etc)? or the timing of events for my corporate event?

Most definitely!  We will offer suggestions based on our many years of experience in the special events industry.

How can I see or hear the performers?

We have audio and video demos of many of our performers on our web site.  If we can arrange for you to stop by an event to see the talent live we will do so, but this is more the exception as most of our events are private.  We also represent additional talent that is not on our site. Once you provide us with your event date, hours, the approximate number of guests, and the venue we will let you know which bands or performers meet your requirements and are available on your event date.

How do I book the performers?
We require written contracts for all of our events. The contract will outline all of the pertinent information related to the event. The pertinent information will include the performer(s), the location of the event, the hours of the event, the number of breaks for the talent (if any), the overtime rate if the artist is requested to perform later than scheduled, the dress, the payment schedule, specific requirements (i.e., staging, sound, or lighting, for example). We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% upon signing the contract unless special arrangements have been made. The balance may be mailed to our office, presented to the Artist the evening of the event, or charged to your credit card.
On the night of the event, can I ask the performer(s) to stay longer?

Yes. If requested, our performers will continue, assuming that there are no schedule conflicts. The overtime rate will be specified in the contract.

What if I cancel the entertainment after signing a contract?

All deposits are technically non-refundable which is understandable as the talent turned down other offers for your event date.. If you cancel your event within sixty days of the event you are liable for the full engagement fee. If you cancel more than sixty days before the engagement date, the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited, but you would not be liable for the balance of the engagement fee. However, if we are able to rebook the talent for your event date we are happy to refund your deposit in full!
